I was a bit skeptical when my buddy first suggested we try out his new outdoor electric grill. I’ve always been a charcoal and propane guy myself.
There’s just something fun about getting the coals perfectly ready or hearing that propane whoosh as the grill ignites, you know? But I’ve got to admit – that electric grill totally won me over.
For starters, there’s no fussing with ventilation or dealing with leftover ash and debris. Just plug it in, turn it on, and you’re good to go! My steaks came out with those nice grill marks and smoky flavors I love. And you can fit a good amount of food on the grilling surface too, so it’s great for when friends come over.
The heat is consistent, no worrying about flare-ups. I don’t know if I’m ready to fully convert, but an outdoor electric grill sure makes grilling feel like a breeze. I might have to get myself one for those nights when I want yummy grilled meat but don’t want to deal with the whole charcoal production.
It’s just so convenient! Have you given one a try yet? You’ve got to check it out.
